Catering for vegan and non-vegans

It can be quite difficult trying to cater for both vegans and non-vegans at the same meal and trying to please everyone. If you are a vegan yourself you probably wouldn't like the thought of cooking anything non-vegan and so would probably provide a completely vegan meal. However, this article is aimed at non-vegans who are looking for ideas of how to cater for themselves and non-vegan guests as well as vegan guests.

For the main vegan course I would serve roasted vegetable tartlets or a nut roast with mushroom sauce.Make sure that you cook enough for every guest as the non-vegan guests always want to try the vegan options.

There are plenty of options for vegan puddings but I would suggest fresh fruit skewers, apple puff pastry or apple and blueberry tart as this should appeal to all guests and can be offered with either soya or normal cream.
