RECIPES - SIDE DISHES - Fried Chick Peas

Recipes for Vegans - Fried Chick Peas

Ingredients

1 tin chick peas
olive oil
vegan boullion powder
vegan mayonnaise
 

 

 


Heat the olive oil in a pan.  Once it is hot add the tin of chick peas (drained first).  Then add 1tsp of boullion powder and mix well. Fry for about 5 minutes until they are going golden brown.  They do tend to pop while cooking and may jump out of the pan so you need to keep an eye on them. 
Serve with the mayonnaise for a great lunch or side dish.
