RECIPES - SIDE DISHES - Garlic Coated Potatoes

Ingredients

potatoes
vegetable oil
plain white flour
dried wild garlic

 


Peel the potatoes and cut in half. Put in a pan of boiling water. Return to the boil and then simmer for ten minutes. Drain and return to the saucepan. Add the garlic and flour and throw the potatoes around in the pan until they are covered.

Transfer to a pan with a .5cm layer of vegetable oil on the bottom. Spoon the oil over the potatoes.

Put in an oven at gas mark 7 for an hour taking out every 15 minutes to recover in the hot oil.
