To make the sauce for the pizza, fry the onion and garlic in a little olive oil until clear. Then add the tomato paste, ketchup and herbs.
Meanwhile slice up the peppers and fry gently until starting to soften.
Toast the bread cut into quarters, spread with the sauce and top with the peppers. The pizza can be eaten straight away when it is hot or cold later. It can also be warmed under the grill but take care not to burn the toast.
