This is a great recipe for children as it contains lots of things that they tend to enjoy as well as some healthy vegetables. It is so simple to prepare they might even be able to cook it themselves.
Cook the noodles according to the instructions on the packet. Finely chop the onion, red pepper and sausage and fry in a little oil until they start to brown. Once the noodles are done strain then and stir in the vegetables and ketchup.
To make a more 'grown-up' version use tomato paste instead of ketchup and a 1 tsp mixed herbs and/or a dozen chopped olives.
