6 medium sprouts
3 shallots
3 finely chopped chestnuts
olive oil
salt
Peel the outside leaves off the sprouts and cut the stems off and cut in half. Put in a pan and boil for 10 minutes.
Chop up the ready cooked chestnuts into small pieces.
Put the olive oil in a frying pan and add the shallots cut into quarters. Cook at a moderate heat until the shallots have gone see through. Increase the heat and add the cooked sprouts and the chopped chestnuts and crisp up.
Season with salt and serve.
