Beat the margarine until smooth. Mix in the vanilla extract. Add the sugar and blend thoroughly. Add the flour and mix until it forms a soft dough.
Roll out on a floured surface and cut out with cookie cutters. I find it makes 12 large round biscuits.
Bake in a preheated 200 degree oven for 13 minutes or until golden brown turning the baking tray around in the oven half way trough cooking to ensure they are evenly browned.
